Once you have booked your session/s, I will send your discovery questionnaire. This includes questions about what you think is holding you back or limiting you; what you would like to achieve as a result of your session/s and what you envisage as a successful outcome. I will also check what other strategies, if any, you have already tried and your thoughts about them and if you have any preferences for your session.
Everything you tell me is fully confidential. You can answer the questions in as much or as little detail as you choose or you can book a strategy chat with me to discuss your needs.
I use what you tell me create your truly bespoke package, crafting the right combination of NLP techniques, Somatic techniques and Hypnotherapy to support your individual needs. We discuss and agree together the initial plan for your session/s ensuring that you can fully enjoy each one with confidence that they meet your individual needs and you will be able to see and feel your progress.
I also ensure that anyone working with me is confident to continue with the techniques independently of me so that you continue your success longer term with the option of dipping back into sessions with me as and when you like but most importantly so that you have your guide book to take with you for life.

These techniques can help in many ways including to enabling you to manage positively under pressure; to set goals which align with your values and beliefs; to remove limiting beliefs; to remove unhelpful thoughts, behaviours and emotions; to build a positive mindset; to overcome fears and phobias; and to create a physiology of excellence to ensure your success .
When you experience emotions, they occur not only in your mind but in your body. When we work with your body as well as your mind, you can learn to recognise the patterns of tension in your body where negative emotions can become stuck and stored.
Body awareness tools such as body scanning, breathing techniques and progressive muscle relaxation enable you to recognise and release the feelings and physical sensations linked to negative emotions. Grounding techniques use your senses to connect with the here and now, helping you to move into a state of rest and ease.
Pendulation techniques are used to regulate the autonomic nervous system (the one responsible for fight and flight) when you are experiencing stress and other intense sensations. They guide you to calm and increase your window of tolerance so you can better cope with different emotions and in pressured situations.
Combined with NLP, you can use somatic resourcing techniques to create strong new patterns of positive thoughts and to guide your body to physical responses linked with positive emotions and to a confident posture allowing you to cultivate calm, confidence and success.
Previous negative experiences, frights and traumas can cause emotions such as fear to become imprinted in your body.
Your unconscious mind can be constantly scanning for occasions when it feels this will reoccur and you can develop unhelpful mechanisms such as freezing when you ride into a jump or avoiding doing something that you previously loved. You can understand it consciously and you can reason exactly why you shouldn’t be repeating the unhelpful habit but still you can’t shift it.
Root Cause Release enables you to use your wisdom in the version of yourself that first experienced the emotion so that you can move on and be released from the unhelpful emotion and associated negative thoughts and limiting beliefs in the present.
Hypnotherapy is a gentle and relaxing way of opening a pathway to your unconscious mind - the place where all of our memories, doubts, fears, beliefs about ourself and emotions are stored.
I am there to guide you and during your session you stay completely in control and fully aware of yourself and your environment, experiencing hypnosis as much as you allow yourself to.
The hypnotic state is experienced by all of us every day, for example when we are day dreaming or absorbed in a really good book or film. The only difference between a normal waking state and a hypnotic state is that you will feel totally relaxed.
Hypnotherapy can help to reframe and challenge negative thought patterns, habits and behaviours alongside promoting positive self-perception, beliefs, and strategies. It is also used to induce feelings of well-being and relaxation. Alongside your 1:1 sessions, I send you a recording you can listen to at home as these new patterns of responding benefit from strengthening and reinforcing until they become habits for life.
